Roasted new potatoes with garlic and sage

This is a very quick post as I thought I should outline the delicious garlic and sage roasted new potatoes I had with my Sunday lunch, which of course would be a great accompaniment to any meal. Gipsy Spread had a nice piece of rump steak with his and also the very comforting broccoli and cheese. See here: http://gipsytoast.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/broccoli-and-cheese.html

What you will need
New potatoes
Olive oil
3-4 cloves of garlic
Sage leaves

Review the potatoes. If there are larger ones, you may wish to slice these in half or in three to ensure all the potatoes cook at a similar rate.

Boil or steam the potatoes until they are part cooked, about 5-10 minutes.

Chop the garlic and the sage and add these to a roasting tin with the part cooked new potatoes. Drizzle over some olive oil and salt and toss the potatoes in these to coat.

Roast these in the oven at 200 degrees for appromimately 40 minutes until crispy and brown on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.
